ISHTA yoga was founded in South Africa in the late 1960s by, Kavi Yogi Swarananda Mani Finger and his son, Alan Finger. Alan Finger brought ISHTA Yoga to the United States in 1975. As a student of ISHTA Yoga, I found their website to be complicated to navigate. I approached Sarah Finger to discuss how we can consolidate ISHTA’s offerings and create a more user-friendly experience for clients while honoring the rich history and future of ISHTA.
